So many snacks and ingredients I haven’t seen since I moved to Halifax. The one thing I miss dearly from where I grew up is my Slavic grandparents, and it’s lovely to have a taste of their home here.

I just ate THE best perogies and cabbage rolls I have ever had! Inexpensive, filling, fresh, and delicious. This Ukrainian-owned grocery/take-out store is a treasure trove of new discoveries for those who, like myself, are unfamiliar with European and Ukrainian food. The prices are excellent, and there are many nutritious options. This has become a favourite for my family, I hope others will discover it too.

I’d like to share my impressions from shopping at Soyka — a Ukrainian products store??❤️

They have an amazing selection of my favorite items. While I was taking photos, my cat was checking out the new treats, which will likely be gone soon!??

I also found my favorite Kyiv cake that I wanted to enjoy for my birthday. A special thanks for that! So, I recommend everyone visit Soyka☺️
